PRODIVE SERVICES S.R.L - Constanta, Romania

I worked for Prodive Services for 8 months, but I was paid only for for 4 months. The general manager, Vlad Cristian, fired me and avoided constantly to respond to my messages. As a personal experience, it might have been the worst in my life. From a different perspective, I was hired mainly to help the company to extend the business overseas, which I did. At least, I did my part. The general manager has a MoU signed with a royal prince from Qatar, but after some time he decided, by no reason, not to follow that lead. At this company, there is a very low quality control of the jobs. All the time I pointed out that the divers do no follow the security rules, but nobody was reacting, making me feeling like a minority. During my period of working at this company I saw no policy regarding equipement maintenance, security was not an issue.The general manager was very nervous one day when I refused to supervise a job. I declined that job due to a very difficult situation which happened earlier, when a diver left to surface, and the other was very close to die due to lack of air onto his tanks. Being with the air reserve close to end, the diver forced himself to surface but he found a big block of ice trapping him underwater. Finally, he succeeded to find a hole and got himself out.
There are too many examples of misconduct at this company, most of them being generated by both the greed and the low level of interest of the general manager.
I would advice everybody to avoid this company and also Prodive Services Management, which is managed by the same person.
